What is the primary function of RNA? Of DNA?


SAQ: Given the last row of the previous question, why do you think it’s important for the DNA to stay in the nucleus and for RNA to be able to leave?


If DNA can’t leave the nucleus and protein is made in the cytoplasm of cells at ribosomes (protein synthesis factories), how do the instructions from the DNA get to the ribosomes?
